Nice cozy flat with lots of Windows. got to see hills and some sea-view from the unit. Located In a relax and convenience spots where there a shops and food in minutes. Excellent host!

All-around bohemian vibe, lots of knick-knacks all over the apartment. It feels more like CouchSurfing than AirBnB, don't book if you're expecting any level of luxury. But if being in a central Stanley location is the most important thing to you, then this is your place as there aren't many other options. Bottom line: I wouldn't book this apartment again, and I would recommend it only for my most laid-back friends. (It worked relatively well for my parents' 10-day stay.) Good: - Location: The apartment is steps away from Stanley Market, Main Street, and public transportation depot (bus and taxi). - Roof deck: It has seating and two barbecue grills, and you'll probably have it to yourself. Not so good: - The host: Marcos was very friendly when my girlfriend came to pick up the keys. He indicated that the apartments was actually his home, and that he'd be staying in the apartments across the hall (which he also owns) for the duration of my parents' stay. That same afternoon, we returned from picking up my parents at the airport to find Marcos in the apartment, asleep on the armchair. It took us more than 5 minutes to wake him up and get him to a state where he understood what was happening (it would have been funny had my parents not been watching...) and then once he realized he was in the wrong house, he apologized profusely (and also sent a message the next day to apologize again). But we spent the rest of our stay wondering/worrying if my parents would find him passed out on the bed... There was confusion at check-out too - Marcos sent me a note reminding me of the check-out date/time, but he was one day early. He took a long time to answer the phone and respond to my messages to correct the error, so there were a few hours where we thought my parents would have to move in with us for the last night! In the end, it was sorted but it did leave us thinking that Marcos is not very organized. - Kitchen: It's very basic, we didn't feel like we could cook much of anything. - Bathroom/shower: It's basic, if this is important to you then be forewarned. - Roof deck: It's not in good shape, the seating has holes, and there is debris everywhere. This may be due to the typhoon that hit a couple weeks earlier, but I would have expected the host to do a bit of clean-up. As it was, I ended up sweeping and re-arranging the furniture to make it usable.
