Beautiful home, photos don't quite show just how cozy the cottage is! had a wonderful stay and it was the perfect accommodation to end our Scottish Highland road trip. Plenty in the way of books and toys which kept our little one entertained; a lovely tough! Definitely recommend

We had a great stay. It was a lovely cottage that had everything we needed. The log burner was great to warm the place up. The trains peeping for the level crossing was a bit noisy but we got used to it.

Thanks for letting us stay! The location is very peaceful, and a beautiful drive to the Lochs and Trossachs (ignore satnav-turn L for scenic route thru Helensburgh). The estuary provided long beach walks at low tide and I liked hearing the faint toot of the trains - I'm noise-sensitive and there's no issues at all with the trains/road. I loved the garden,the bird table was very popular! The bed in the main bedroom was comfy, and lots of towels provided. I'd say the house is ready for a bit of TLC - walls a bit scuffed, the garden furniture is tired, and I concur with other reviewers that the bathroom is lovely but chilly - it took a couple of days for the air temp to get above 12degrees. (The fan heater and firelighters were missing, so i was pleased I had slippers!) Saying that, once I got the fire going and used the heating panels, the living room and bedroom were toasty. I feel bedrooms might benefit from a colourful throw/cushions,but appreciate that's a personal taste thing.
