Checking in and out was quite easy. The room did have a specific smell to it, not a bad one. Just noticeable. Other than that, the stay was great and expected for the price.

Had event at the casino this place was only 15 minutes away. The room was very clean and lots to do in surrounding areas.

The 1st time we stayed at Rodeway's we rented the non-smoking king room w/loveseat and found it straddled by 2 smoking rooms. The pervading cigarette and chemical “air-freshener” odors (someone had left one plugged in), were so strong that this time we decided to spend the extra money - $147.50 mid week - for this gray room. The gray room has it's own issues: The bathroom's tiny recessed counter-top does not provide much room to store toiletries, and the door has a threshold that sticks up about 1.5”. This might not sound bad but it's a real tripping hazard! Next, the security light outside the back window illuminates the ENTIRE room all night. Which begs the question, what's a small rod and blackout curtain run? But none of this compares to the sick feeling we got when I dropped something and pulled out my flashlight to find it. The desk legs and tv stand/dresser were covered with mold spores – yes, mold spores – inside and out! On the bright side though, the bed was comfortable.
