We didn’t have the pleasure to meet Estelle in person, but she was very friendly and helpful through the app. The cottage is clean and okay for a practical stay. However, if you are looking for a place to enjoy, this may not be your best option. The beach access is a bit dangerous because of loose steps and passes through a kind of open-air workshop with lots of clutter. Currently (April 2024) there is a construction side next door, so there is noise as of 7am.

Estelle est plutôt réactive, le cottage est très proche de la plage, et pas mal de choses sont accessibles en voiture, calme et bruits de « jungle » agréables à entendre quand ce ne sont pas les travaux! 2 prises avec déjà les adaptateurs au mur, c’est pratique! Points à améliorer: - instructions d’arrivée: peut être à cause de la version traduite par airbnb, mais ce n’était pas clair du tout et on a longtemps tourné avant de trouver le logement! Les photos sont différentes de la réalité ; beaucoup plus simple avec la photo aérienne! - une notice générale avec infos sur l’appart (un seul verrou ferme, code wifi, où garer la voiture, interrupteur pr la douche, …) +/- les choses à faire autour (resto, épicerie…) - une épicerie de base (sel, sucre, huile, thés) serait bienvenue; + ciseaux ou couteau qui coupe? - l’accès à la plage est difficile, aucune indication et gardé par des chiens aboyeurs (sympas ensuite, mais ça ne rassure pas au début) on a trouvé grâce aux autres comments!

Estelle was a great host! The cottage was in a great location, making the trip to restaurants and the beach very easy. I was able to message her with any questions I had and she would respond in a timely manner.

This cabin is cute as hell! It's disconnected from the rest of the town and is perfect for peace and quiet. The ocean is so close that you'll often hear the waves at night, a wonderful sound. Keep in mind that when your staying in a cabin, on an island, your on ISLAND TIME! When the internet goes out, it may be out for a day or two, if a light blows, it may be out for some time. This can be a hard thing to adjust to, but ultimately we're just used to having everything we want at our finger tips. Estelle is a fantastic host and we are very happy with our time spent here!
