1st- It took us 3 hours to get to the house (traffic) 2nd- We were under the impression that the house had a key code gate & we were even provided with a gate code for entry but it was irrelevant bc the gate is a LATCH gate & the gate was already open when we arrived - when we went to key in the code for the key box the box just fell open (broken) 3rd- we had a key ring of about 15 keys (no labels) to use for the many doors on the property 4th- A huge growling raccoon kept running out at us when someone would walk outside 5th- We were unaware that one of the windows in the main house had wooden "quilt" style panel without glass leaving you bare to the elements & bugs. Spider nests, fire ants, lizards & we even had a live crab inside of the house. 6th- You can't access the bedrooms or the only bathroom inside the main house unless you go outside & up the stairs 7th- The last straw for us a man kept shining a flashlight into the house from the beach late @ night We left Worst experience

We really enjoyed our family stay in this house. It’s a beautiful house with all the accommodations for a relaxing coastal retreat. The house is located in a very remote area but safe community with security guards who are very helpful. There’s a delicious small restaurant within the community and small store with essentials but I recommend bringing all the groceries you may need for your stay.
