Our stay was wonderful as always. We have stayed with Dee multiple times while our son was going to school in Boone. We appreciated her cozy , comfortable cottage with room to spread out (and make some home-cooking for our kid). We will miss this little hideaway when he moves on!!

The Woodsy Country Cottage was a great choice. Everything was clean and comfortable. Location was nice, but I was very surprised on how much traffic there was on the road. I thought this place was a little more secluded. I slept in the bedroom closest to the road and could easily hear the cars driving by at all hours of the day. It wasn't the worst thing, I just wasn't expecting it in this location. I was shocked to see how many towels, linens, and pillows were supplied. It just made my 3-day stay that much easier. The scenic "yard" was fantastic. We really loved all the bird feeders. Wish the weather had been a tad nicer, so we could've enjoyed the deck fully. This rental has everything you could need and then some. Dee has done a fantastic job.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this restful place! The house was clean and well cared for with lots of little touches to help you enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Watching the downy woodpeckers come right up to the feeders on the door was such a treat. Dee was a great host, making sure we had what we needed but also giving us space to enjoy time as a family. We would definitely return.

In Boone to visit our son at DMACC and our itinerary got turned upside down due to weather. Dee was super responsive and accommodating for a reservation change. We felt right at home and had a warm cozy place to sleep after a long day of baseball.
