We absolutely loved our time with Lyndall and her husband Scott for a few days. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL home right near Mount Mansfield in Stowe. We visited at the beginning of May, so we never felt the overcrowded-ness of the tourist seasons that often occur in Stowe. The surroundings were gorgeous, we were super close to all the great restaurants in town, had short drives to some neighboring towns, plenty of options for outdoor activities nearby. Lyndall and Scott were kind, considerate hosts with lots of stories to share, great recommendations, and delicious breakfasts in the morning. Loved the cat companions, too!! We couldn’t have asked for a better end to our Vermont roadtrip. Highly recommend staying here!!

Lyndall and Scott have one of the more memorable Airbnb's that my wife and I have ever stayed at! Their historic house and environs are a testament to patience, skill, and a deliberate, place-based lifestyle that is too uncommon these days. The home is quite cozy, but if you're really tall, you probably won't fit well in the upstairs guest room (historic, low ceiling height). We stayed during the total eclipse and they even welcomed my siblings for a watch party and potluck. Great conversation, company, and food. Location is convenient to everything the Stowe area has to offer. We will stop by again someday when we're in the area:)

Nestled in a picturesque location, their property offers a perfect retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lyndall and scott are very welcoming and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting retreat to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in Stowe. I can't wait to return!

The house and gardens were beautiful. It felt so special to stay in such an authentically old New England House. The attention to detail in the house was amazing. For example, the bathroom has delft tiles in the shower and antique brass fixtures. The bed was very comfortable and the room received a lot of light and views into the beautiful garden. Also the location as great. It was a short drive to many restaurants, hikes, and even skiing in the winter. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the whole feel of the home was warm, inviting, and happy. Couldn't have asked for it to have been better!

Lyndall & Scott are incredibly thoughtful and friendly hosts. Their home is beautifully restored and in a wonderful setting. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend staying with them while in Stowe.
