Apartment was on the edge of down town about 1 to 2 blocks away from dining and other experiences. Easy check in process.

Our stay was alright. The negative stuff: There was hair in the sinks if one of the bathroom. Not a huge deal. The sheets on the had hair and fuzz that I am hoping just got stuck there from the dryer. The location was in an area of heavy traffic. We stayed on the weekend and there was loud traffic throughout the night. The building is an older building and the windows are thin and it was very noisy. So if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. The place itself smells very musty and kind of like mildew. It is right next to the lake so maybe it’s from that? Like I said it’s a very old building and it has a smell accordingly. The good: it was easy to find. It looked just like pictures and was accurate described. It is close to a lot of things within walking distance which may be nice for some people. Overall I would not stay again, nor suggest to others.

We stayed here for the 2024 eclipse, and it was perfect to be able to walk down to the water, to all the local restaurants, and see the local underground railroad sites. The apartment has a lovely big main room, and the bedrooms were perfect for us. You could definitely have a couple of families crash here. We also loved the clever salvaged decor in the house!
