The house was as described I would recommend to anyone looking to find a nice spot to stay while in the white mountains area

The place had a nice a location on the water, with the large hill behind it to sit and enjoy the peace. Sadly, it is a very narrow plot and there were three noisy dogs on one side, and at least one on the other. The master bedroom had a very firm memoryfoam matress; it was far to stiff for my sleep but you can't please everyone. There are decks on the back of the building and there was some snow. The listing mentioned one of the decks would be open if weather kept the other two closed. All were covered in snow. Communication was fair, I am used to a little more proactive interaction from the renters but we got replies when we reached out usually in about 90 minutes. The older building was nicely refinished but there were number of places where the elevation changed and some floors that had two distinct height, sometime in the same room, not even at thresholds that made for lots of stumbles and stubbed toes. The town was quiet and what we expected, with a many nearby options for food.

Beautiful home,spacious and very clean would recommend can't wait to go back in the warmer weather were we will have access to all decks and possibly go fishing.

We stayed at Brendan’s place for 2 nights while our family went to Santa’s Village for New Year’s. We traveled with our kids, another couple and their infant. The home was very clean and much more spacious than anticipated. The only issue we had was the heating. We noticed it would change back to a preset temperature, particularly in the middle of the night. However, when we returned back from the park on NYE, the house was freezing and reading 59 degrees, even though it was set at 70. I reached out to Brendan and his team and I received a response within 15 minutes. We were told there was an additional heater we could use and they would adjust the temperature from their controls, since it was a smart thermostat. The problem was resolved in a timely manner. Overall, the stay was fine for what we needed it for and would consider staying here again. We visit Gorham frequently for snowmobiling and ATV’ing and this was a good location.

The serene neighborhood is located alongside the Androscoggin River, “which is located behind the home!” This makes it ideal for guaranteed relaxation. It is also located in between Gorham, and Berlin, which is great because you get the best of both worlds! Also, note that it is an 4 minute drive to Walmart to grab all the supplies you may need during your stay.

There is ample parking in the driveway.
