My stay at Lakeview Cottage exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely meticulous. Every attention to detail was evident. The beachfront sand was even raked! The bed linens and towels were exquisite and lush. The best part was the bedroom balcony overlooked the lake. With the French doors open you could hear the waves lapping to the shore whilst you slept. And the reflection from the water was on the tongue and groove ceiling. Just magical! I lucked in to experience a full moon and it bathed the bed with its glow. An absolutely beautiful, pristine, quiet, idyllic, place to restore and feed one’s soul. Thank you Dee and Doug for the privilege of staying at your cottage

Absolutely gorgeous space. I can’t say enough about this beautiful place. It’s an absolute must if going to Muskoka. Right on the water, it’s so peaceful and cozy. An amazing bed and gorgeous space, I felt right at home in this little paradise. I will absolutely be coming back in the future, two nights just wasn’t enough!

This is a beautiful little place on the water. The photos don't do it justice. Quiet, clean, peaceful. Gorgeous sunsets (if you have sun) right over the water. The use of the canoe and kayaks was a really nice touch and one we took full advantage of. It's super close to Huntsville. A 10 min drive. Also, very close to Algonquin Park. We used this place as our base for hiking. We also just hung out at the house one day and used the private beach and fire pit. The only downside was that the temp hob trips the electrics. So we had to improvise with some cooking on a couple of days, but they do have a BBQ too, so if you are a meat eater, you can take full advantage of that. It really has everything you need for a great stay. Super nice to wake up to the view across the water and hearing the lapping of the waves against the shore.
