My son said this was his favorite Airbnb of all time. It’s simply a unique property and experience. It’s like visiting your family cabin on a spacious property with a beautiful creek. The fire pit is amazing and it’s easy to get a fire going. We felt at home very quickly and truly enjoyed meeting owner Jerry. It would not have been the same without him. He is truly kind and his hospitality and knowledge of the property and surrounding area is outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and had a memorable celebration. Six of us stayed and wanted to return at another time to enjoy this place again. Many thanks to Jerry for allowing us to stay and being such a gracious host.

Unbelievably beautiful place! Not only the cabin itself which is incredible, but the pristine surroundings as well. The hosts, Jerry and Janice, are so friendly and accommodating. We hadn’t heard of Vanleer TN - although we are Tennessee natives - but we loved it so much we are already making plans to go back. Five stars plus some!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Mr. Jerry’s home. We love everything about it! It’s truly a place to unwind and relax. My groomsmen and I loved our stay at Yellow Creek Retreat. Jerry and Janice were excellent hosts and made us feel right at home when we arrived. The cabin was spacious, clean, has great amenities, and was even better than expected from photos. The property is very private and peaceful and the beautiful setting is hard to beat. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to stay there longer! I highly recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again sometime in the future.
