Everything written about Delia so far is true. She and her family are a delight. Her house is lovely. Their garden is vast and gorgeous. Her cooking is wonderful. You will not regret staying here. There is no wifi. Not even in the park anymore. And, it wasn't as easy to find her place as we thought it would be. We thought it would be right near the park. It's actually a good 10 minute walk up a dirt road away from the park. We stayed in January and our first night there was so cold we were really wishing we had a blanket. But, all we had on the bed was a sheet. Those were the only issues we ran into. Otherwise, our stay was exquisite!

Such a lovely place to stay! If you are interested in the Nicaraguan culture and love nature and would like to charge your energy, then this lovely family and place is for you! Delia and her family are very warm-hearted and the house is just beautiful with a beautiful garden and possibilities to hike. Delia also cooks very yummy Nicaraguan food and showed me around and introduced me to the people there. I had a great stay and I'll definitely come back. This place is healing.
