This is such a lovely place. Wonderfully arranged and spacious, well thought out with great outdoor area. The kitchen is fabulously well equipped with lots of space to sit and makes cooking and dining effortless. Freda's personal touches were very kind and considerate and made my dad's 80th birthday celebration even more special. The carpet of bluebells in the woodland garden was magical. It's definitely a cut above other places we've stayed. Beddgelert is an easy walk away and we truly enjoyed the steam engine trip to Caernaefon.

Everything from the house, the location, the garden, and facilities was just perfect. Freda is a great host and so helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend highly enough. Just a great place to stay. I loved being able to let our dog out of the patio each morning straight out to the garden, and sit with a brew to enjoy the peace and look at the view. Such a well thought out place to stay. Perfect location too with a two minute stroll into the village with its beautiful shops and pubs. The local walks are great too, from easy to hard, but all accessible from the village. There’s also the Sherpa Bus if you want to go further afield. And the train stops in the village too. Everything about it was perfect and look forward to returning.

Loved our stay! Peaceful spot with a great outdoor space, lovely furniture and we didn’t use it but the hot tub looked great. Homely kitchen with everything you could need and super comfortable living space. Quiet spot for a good nights sleep after walking in the mountains and great location even within the village. Freda was so friendly and welcoming and checked in during our stay too - oh and we loved the cupcakes!

We had an amazing time at Glasfryn House and Freda’s hospitality was excellent, as was the cake she left us. We stayed for three nights using Beddgelert as a base for a Snowdon hike, but the location offered so much more. There were six adults in our party and two dogs, the accommodation was ideal with plenty of space. The weather was kind to us and we managed to use the hot tub each day in our stay which was unexpected. We can definitely recommend Glasfryn House and hope to make a return visit.
