Absolutely stunning place to stay if you like the countryside. Sue and Paul are fantastic hosts, incredibly welcoming and helpful and were very respectful of our privacy. The shepherds hut and facilities were beautifully presented and very clean/tidy. Their homemade jam was delicious and I cannot fault them for anything. Plenty of brochures for local things to do, a nice basket of basic breakfast essentials and emergency toiletries available if we needed them. Communication was prompt and they were very accommodating. Suffice to say, we will be back next year to enjoy this beautiful place again. Well worth the money!
We just had a short break at Sue and Paul's place - too short in fact, would have loved to stay longer (next time we will). just loved the peace and open space and the hut was just lovely, so cosy, couldn't ask for more! All in all we felt that this was excellent value for the money and would love to come back again in the future.
Sue and Paul's place is beautiful, idyllic surroundings, wonderful shepherd hut and amazing amenities. I was the first to try the new car charger and worked perfectly. I cannot recommend their place highly enough, I will definately return if I am in Dorset again.... sitting on the bench watching the sunset over the fields was magical, a must do for anybody visiting..
A lovely peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings. Sue and Paul were really friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The location is set within the open countryside on an elevated site with extensive views over the surrounding countryside designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The shepherds hut has its own small meadow with all mod con facilities provided within yards of the property. Although the locality is remote it is close to a Georgian Town providing all the usual modern facilities.
