The most beautiful location for a peaceful break with our new baby whilst visiting friends nearby! Eileen was the perfect host, very responsive and helpful and just so welcoming to her amazing home! The setting is ideal and seeing the mares and foals each morning was lovely ☺️ lots of good places to eat close by and bury st Edmund’s not far away and definitely worth a visit. Kings forest also close by perfect for if you have a dog or fancy a walk … overall perfect stay and would love to visit again!

We spent a week here and enjoyed the peaceful setting with lots of wildlife to see and well situated for visiting National Trust properties. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Eileen was a great host and I loved Spud the dog! Would recommend.

Orchard Cottage absolutely exceeded expectations! Driving up, your breath is taken away by the beautiful buildings and gardens. Followed by such a serene walk through to the orchard and round to the cottage. The cottage has such homely clean decor, and was so relaxing to spend time in. Waking up in the mornings we were truly blessed by going at this time of year! We found ourselves opening the blinds to reveal 3 sets of mares and foals frolicking in the surrounding fields, it felt like a dream. We also got to often meet and give Spud the dog who was the most friendly sweet thing. Eileen is a phenomenal host, the most attentive and caring airbnb host we ever have had! Helpful recommendations and just generally such a lovely person to chat to. We will most definitely be back for future trips!
