We enjoyed our time at Barbara's cabin so much!! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We are looking forward to our next trip there!

We loved our stay at Barbara’s cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable and we slept extremely well. If we had chosen to cook, rather than eating out, spices and seasonings as well as any cooking utensils we would have needed were available. She had also provided some snacks and soft drinks along with coffee and creamer. The cabin is very cozy and there were games and DVDs available, plus cable. We enjoyed walking the trail, going to the creek and the pond. Our dog was able to be on the property with us absent a leash since there was plenty of room to roam. We saw turkey from the back deck and there was seating on the front porch and the back deck. Close enough to Mountain View that it only took about 15 minutes or so to get there. Since the cabin is at the end of the road we didn’t have to be concerned with traffic. Great stay and would be happy to stay again on a return trip. Highly recommend!

The trail was a perfectly easy loop. The running creek was woven into the trail in a couple places where it crossed and it was just beautiful for what our hearts desired. The whole place is peaceful and well kept. Country and cozy and exactly what we needed. She provided lighters and marshmallow/hot dog sticks. (Harp’s in town has great wood for sale.) Even some snacks and a coffee/tea station! The back deck was a bonus with a beautiful view of the sloping field and woods behind. The hike is a real hiking trail! We got exactly what we were looking for and we are so well rested and pleased with all of it. Barbara is a kind host and we are so grateful she is willing to share this little bit of heaven on earth with people like us. Thank you so much Barbara!

If you looking for an isolated quiet place in the woods with hiking trails, this if for you. I didn’t see another person while there. It’s a one room cabin with two beds. If you are looking for a fancy place, this is not for you. We loved it

One of my favorite stays so far. This property was exactly what I was looking for. It was peaceful and private and the creek running in the back was amazing. The cabin was cozy and spotless. Very comfortable. Loved the deck. My dog had a blast as well and I loved that there was plenty of room for him to run and play and enjoy the outdoors as well. I had all the peace and solitude I needed during my stay. I would love to stay here again when it is a little warmer and a little drier to get the most out of the property grounds. I did not want to leave! Barbara is a great host and was very responsive.
