The place was amazing. My kids loved it. The location was close to the beach, the views were great. It was as described and would definitely love to stay there again.

Great location and view. Only negative was the large track hoe blocking traffic on the single lane street most of Friday. Looks like they are building a new house next door. Might be worth finding out how much longer their heavy equipment will impede renters and residents.

First things first: the location is phenomenally beautiful--truly a stunning spot. 10/10 would return to Lincoln City, OR. Here are the issues we had: 1) We arrived ~5p (for a 4p check in), but the lock box code Meredith sent didn't work. I messaged them at 5:28 through Airbnb, and didn't get a call back until after 7pm. The 2nd code they sent didn't work, either. Third time was the charm--and, thankfully, some prior occupant had left the sliding doors unlocked, or we would have been stuck outside for three hours. 2) The driveway... I like to drive offroad from time to time, but I've *never* seen anything like this driveway. The slope is 22 degrees--that's about a 42% grade, for those of you keeping score at home. If I'd been driving something with less ground clearance, I would absolutely have bottomed out every time. How you could not give guests a heads-up about this beyond me. 3) Rough, worn/pilled sheets; stained carpets, broken plastic patio furniture... at $1,250/night?
