My family makes an almost annual retreat to Jess' cabin, and we always wish we booked longer! Beautiful touches, incredible location, and you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
Great little cabin by the lake. Went there for some leaf peeping and was a great location in central Maine for us to see the state. We went to Acadia National park ( 2 1/2 hours), rangeley lakes (2 hours) and Portland (1 hour) while there. The cabin is on beautiful lake China and is extremely cozy and comfortable!

The lakeside is beautiful, even in the midst of a hurricane (Lee came up the Gulf of Maine while we were there) but you'll need to clear the pine needles from your vehicle. The house was comfortable, cozy, and useful, like a good Maine camp. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils for a large gathering. I'd definitely stay there again.
My family enjoyed the cabin and lake, we felt right at home and had so much fun, we all agree we would love to come back!

I am an outdoorsy playful girl in my 40s. I love to spend time with friends, eat good food, be outside and to laugh. I have a motorcycle license, am a nurse, started a pick up ultimate frisbee league in my town and love to connect people to the places I love. I work at an integrative medical office, am working on my masters in nursing, and volunteer at the local not for profit where I worked for more than 12 years. I also have a bodywork practice where I do thai-shiatsu body work, matrix energetics and reiki. My family lives near by and I have a close relationship with them. I like to read and sew and bake. I have been knitting and crocheting since I was a young girl. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, love romantic comedies and am a huge fan of quantum physics. I live with my wife, Brenda, who is more shy than I am. She is deeply in love with our dog, Ozzie, and loves to snuggle with him on the couch. She takes very good care of me, and helps me to rest. We love to hike, travel, and snowboard together. We keep bees.
