This stunning log home is privately situated on 10 acres at the end of a quiet country road! You will find stunning mountain views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and and the French Doors in the dining room, and master bedroom. Nature is just a breath away. NOTE: This house no longer has a Jacuzzi tub. There is a soaking tub in the master bath that is not yet hooked up – no water, no drain. Hopefully that could be remedied in time for your next visit. Beautiful place, beautiful views and a peaceful area; that was what we were looking for. The house is as it was described. Jason & Phillys are great hosts. !!! Instructions/ recommendations are clear, and we had a great weekend. Highly recommended. !!!!!
Well, that worked out well. The house was really comfortable inside and out. Perfect amount of privacy, beautiful views, great location for getting to towns, hiking, etc. Everything was clean. Basic supplies were all available and rules were clear. We rent a lot and I like it when everything is in order and I don't have to constantly bother the hosts with questions or issues. This was easy. Thank you! The effort to make our stay as nice as possible was recognized and appreciated. Really enjoyed. Nicely done!

We had a great stay here. The house was beautiful. The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. We left and item in the house and they found it and mailed it back to us very quickly. Overall, a great place to stay and would come back and recommend to a friend.
We were a family of 8 adults and 4 kids three and under that stayed here for Presidents’ Day weekend. We loved the house! Open and bright, beautiful views, and quiet / secluded but close to the ski mountains in the area. Would go again!

Overlook is located at the end of a dead end road so it's quiet and private without being isolated. Noise does travel so please be considerate of the few nearby neighbors.
The village is located between Margaretville and Roxbury where you'll find great shopping.
The Round Barn farmers' market (Saturdays) is right down the road.
You can get to the area by Pine Hill Trailways bus (Margaretville, 5 minutes' drive or Grand Gorge, 15 minutes' drive) but you will need a car to get around the area.

Jason and Phyllis. You might also hear from Laura. Don’t worry. She’s cool! It was over 20 years ago when we ventured out of NYC looking for a weekend home. After a long search, we ended up in the Margaretville area of the central Catskills and fell in love with it. Friendly neighbors and nature all around... not bad, I must say. It didn't take us long to start our vacation rental management business and move up here full time. And it’s been great. We are nestled in the Catskills Park - 275,000 Forever Wild acres - with undisturbed nature and pockets of quaint small towns. We love that the natural beauty is year round and we take advantage of all there is to do. Hiking is amazing, skiing and snow-shoeing, river tubing, and... is antiquing considered a sport? (maybe, depends on who you ask!). We have everything from great restaurants featuring farm-to-table freshness to amazing artisans... all within a few miles of each other. A few years ago Laura got married at one of our nearby wedding venues and her family stayed in our properties. Now Laura is working with us and we couldn't be happier. Don't be surprised if you see Laura's name at the bottom of a message from us! I think you'll like her as much as we do.
