The apartment is in an excellent location and generally the photos are accurate. We had a good time there. However, this is not a luxury apartment as the owner/rental company suggested to us repeatedly. Apparently, the flat is so valuable that the owner could not do without a 200 EUR deposit which they insisted would have to be paid outside of airBnB either by us GIVING THEM OUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS (yes, that's what they suggested; either sending that in an email/whatsApp message or providing details over the phone) or sending the amount via PayPal. They claimed this was part of the house rules which in fact was not included in the confirmation email we have received after booking the flat. Since there are very clear instructions on airBnB not to pay anything outside of the website itself as that might be an attempt at fraud we refused to do this. The company then got extremely unpleasant and forced us to pay the deposit via PayPal, claiming they are "a very famous company" and the apartment is "very expensive". That was a bit of a joke. Some of the furniture is quite old (the fake blue leather on the sofa is totally disintegrating and small bits of blue plastic are spread everywhere across the floor) and generally, it's an IKEA landscape you step into. The final touch of luxury is the rather nasty bottle of rose wine that you get with the flat! To be fair, we have received our deposit back but frankly, the service was extremely poor (we felt harassed and potentially cheated). So, I struggle to recommend this listing.

A very well situated apartment, quite close to both the main Cathedral and Accademia Gallery. From here you can enjoy the walk to other points of interest. This has most appliances you need and they worked well. Beds could be more comfortable but the place is kept cool which is important for warm nights. If you are interested in a well-situated apartment, this is a good option.
