It was my second time staying with Hoan and her family. Very kind, warm hearted and thoughtful hosts. The breakfast was lovely! It was a genuine pleasure coming back. Everything from the location, privacy, peacefulness, price and hospitality, was outstanding! Hoan and her husband are a true credit to Airbnb.

Hang was really nice to us during our stay in Cat Ba. We could rent a motorbike, and the breakfast was so good. I highly recommend it !

Hoan and her husband are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and helpful. They helped me book a boat tour, motorbike hire and bus to Hanoi. Breakfast was great. The accommodation was brilliantly located in the heart of Cat Ba town, near all the restaurants and waterfront. It is a self contained annexe above their living space. It is very peaceful and relaxing to be there.

I throughly enjoyed my time with Hoan & her husband. They’re both very kind & friendly hosts, who couldn’t have done more for me. When I first arrived in Cat Ba town, Hoan came to pick me up. She then showed me some useful places around the area, as we made our way to the accommodation. On arrival, we proceeded up a flight of stairs, into an empty room (where I’d have a lovely breakfast every morning), & then up another set of steps, to an outhouse, situated by itself, on a hill. This made it seem pretty private, & ultimately proved to be very quiet in the evenings. Also, the location was fantastic, being right in the heart of the town, with many great restaurants & coffee shops all around. The en-suite room itself had a very comfy bed, bottled water, & other quality amenities. The price point was fantastic value for money. This is definitely the way an AirBnb experience should be, with Hoan & her husband offering first class hospitality, perfect recommendations & outstanding value!
