This stay was magical. We were spending the week working in monteverde and always had great internet and spaces to work. The house was the perfect place to relax and return to after exploring the town. It was private and charming! We would return if we ever had the chance!

Such a gorgeous oasis in Monteverde. THIS HOUSE IS VIBES. The view cannot be over-emphasized. Beautiful sunsets overlooking the Nicoya Bay, I had no idea we would have a bay view until we got there and I was blown away. We saw capuchin monkeys outside the house as well as coati’s. The king size bed was so comfortable with amazing linens. Beautiful kitchen with everything we needed for cooking. My only word of caution is that if you are a big couch potato this might not be the spot for you as the couches are more loveseat sized so it’s hard to cuddle with a partner. Other than that, this place is truly perfect!!! Internet was good if you need to do some work while there or want to stream a movie. Pedro, thank you for this oasis!

Pedro was one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. Prior to our stay, we expressed concern about mosquitos and other bugs, and he went all around town to find a mosquito net to put over one of the beds. Fortunately, we didn't end up needing it, but we really appreciated the lengths he went through for us. He was also very communicative throughout our stay. The place feels serene and has an incredible view. There's another rental in front of the house, but not within direct line of sight, and overall it still felt private. The house itself is quaint and has a lot of character. The instructions for getting there are very clear, though you'll want a car with high clearance (4WD was not necessary for us). Being a 5-minute drive from Hotel Belmar was really convenient—the restaurant is really good! One thing to note is that we had a few visits from scorpions, with one making it into the bedroom, but Pedro assured us that they are a rare sight so we must have gotten unlucky.

We extremely enjoyed the villa , totally worth every second spent in it . The location is amazing and talk about your little piece of heaven in the mountains . Pedro was super amazing and had all the right recommendations to the places around the villa. Best restaurants, cafes , activities, etc . Overall 5/5 stars .
