This location is good and the unit is clean and well appointed. The walls are a little thin, but otherwise the unit is fine. That said, I would not recommend renting this unit due to our arrival experience and lack of apparent concern on the part of the property management. When we arrived late on Thursday evening, there was no key in the lockbox . We called the property management phone number provided and were told security would meet us at the unit. No apology was offered, and the person who answered the phone seemed annoyed that we were bothering them. When security arrived, they had the wrong key. We called the management number again and received no response. Left a message and never heard back. Security was finally able to find another key that worked and we got in about two hours after initially arriving in Snowshoe. While it was annoying, mistakes happen, and having a missing key is forgivable. However, the lack of response or accountability is unacceptable. The fact that the property managers knew we were stranded and unable to access the unit in the middle of the night and then stopped answering their phone is completely unacceptable. I'm not sure what we would've done if security couldn't get us is, but it is clear that the property managers would not have been available to help and we would've been on our own. At minimum I would've expected a check-in call or email to make sure we got in okay, and an apology would've been nice as well We will absolutely make another trip to snowshoe, but will NOT rent through this management company again.
