Jon is a great host. Lovely garden and swimming pool facility. There is a farm and some children playground which is great for kids. However,the coffee table in the 2 bedrooms lodge is dangerous as it's got sharp metal corners and the wooden floor has huge gaps and it catches feet or baby's hands (when crawling). Everything else is great apart from not as baby friendly.
Really lovely area, the place was much bigger than expected, perfect for the 7 of us! The walks across the countryside was an added bonus, beautiful views. The pool was also very nice, we were able to play our music in the background and it was just us in the pool 90% of the time! Would highly recommend this place however I wouldn't bring a small car as the track to the driveway is very bumpy!
