Chalet idéalement situé, au calme et très proche de la télécabine. Il est, en outre spacieux. Dominique a été très arrangeant en nous permettant de rentrer dans le logement en avance et son ami nous a fourni un appareil à raclette. La grande proximité de la frontière suisse nous a posé qq soucis (connexion automatique au réseau de téléphonie Suisse, il faut penser à restreindre l'itinérance avant d'arriver), ce qui a également posé problème au wifi du chalet, malgré la bonne volonté de notre hôte nous avons dû nous passer de connexion. Rien de rédhibitoire, cela nous aura permis de profiter pleinement de nos vacances.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le chalet de Dominique, à huit personnes dont deux jeunes enfants. La maison est spacieuse, confortable et chaleureuse. On sent qu'elle a été habitée, on y trouve tous les accessoires utiles en cuisine, des livres et DVD, etc. Pendant notre séjour Dominique habitait dans une maison voisine. Il est sympathique et a pu nous conseiller sur les nombreuses possibilités de randonnées dans le coin.

How to balance the review? First, and by far the most important feature, is that the chalet is in the most wonderful location, quiet, glorious views, up against the forests and mountains, with alpine wildlife coming to visit right up to the door - ibex, red and roe deer, owls, adders, and - in summer - a wonderful variety of flowering plants and insects. Dominique himself was not there but we communicated when a few things went slightly wrong and he tried to respond to get things sorted - he was certainly very friendly in approach. The chalet itself is of an age and while some things have been replaced and repaired over the course of time, it is not in any sense 'modern'. It has a simple interior and fittings and while the description lists many amenities, you should probably not expect them all to work as fully modern appliances. If you stay in the chalet with this in mind, and you love the quiet, the mountains, and nature, you will likely have a great stay. And the 'Zen' view of Mont Blanc is truly special!

Idéal pour un groupe ou une famille. Chalet tout simple mais idéalement placé (au calme à l’extérieur du village) avec une très belle vue et une baignoire!
