Our group, five adults, visited Portugal for the first time on the 10 day trip. We stayed for 5 nights at Claudia's place, and it was the best accommodation, greatly exceeding our expectations. Initially we were concerned about the time and complexities getting to Lisbon, but previous travelers' reviews and Claudia's notes put that concern at ease. We are very glad we did not choose Lisbon central as our 'home'. Carcavelos is a wonderful little beach town and Claudia's apartment is less than 3 minutes walk to the beach. Restaurants for every taste are on the plaza in front of the apartment building. We would greatly recommend Thai and Seafood restaurants. Not because the others were worse, but these rwo were the ones we tried and they were magnificent. Claudia's apartment is very large by any standards and for sure comparing to typical European 3 bd flats. It is very quiet and very well equipped, including even a washer. All beds were very comfortable. Claudia is a super host!

WHAT A GREAT PLACE!! We loved our stay, she made it so welcoming that we never wanted to leave. She was fast to respond, gave great directions, and made the apartment so homey. It was so close to the beach and near many food places. Perfect stay, would stay again in a heartbeat!

Ruim appartement(ideaal voor gezin met 3 tieners), mooi ingericht! Fijn dat er strandlakens, een paraplu en een bal aanwezig waren. Uitgeruste keuken en een supermarkt op 2 minuten wandelen. Fijn om in de ochtend verse broodjes te gaan halen! Het strand is ook op zo een 3 minuten wandelen. Gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanuit Lissabon. Je wordt fijn onthaald door Claudia. Wij hebben genoten!
