Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux chez Susan. Sa maison est chaleureuse et accueillante, remplie de petits objets délicats qui lui donnent une âme particulière. Le jardin est ravissant. Les soirées éclairées à la bougie y sont romantiques. L'emplacement est rêvé, calme et reposant, à deux minutes de la plage, à 10 minutes à pied du plus beau musée du monde (Louisiana !), près du château d'Hamlet... Susan est une hôte très attentionnée, avec laquelle il a été très agréable de cohabiter. Nous avons été touché par Susan et la poésie de ce lieu. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir un jour. Encore merci !

Susan's house is a little paradise. It is peacefully located only a few steps to a beautiful and quiet beach and a forest, but within easy reach to the station with a half-hour connection to Copenhagen and only few minutes away from (in my opinion) one of the most beautiful art museums of the world, the Louisiana. The house is large, tastefully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen, and has so many cosy and comfy sitting areas that it's hard to decide where to relax - we immediately felt at home. We loved eating outside on the covered terrace surrounded by the beautiful garden; when it got colder, we spent the evenings playing games in the conservatory. We also used the private beach and went swimming every day, which felt like heaven. Susan was very kind and accommodating when we didn't find the key on the first attempt and she left us a lot of helpful information about what to do. My family loved it a lot and we will hopefully come back some day! Menge tak, Susan!

A fantastic place to stay in true Danish style. We counted three separate sitting areas and three dining areas in the house and another three outside the house, so whatever the weather, wherever the sun, there was somewhere to sit and eat or drink. And that's not counting the seating area by the beach. Be aware that Susan lives in the house, so it is maybe more cluttered than you might expect, with pictures, possessions etc. but the two bedrooms are at one end, with a large living area between them and Susan's bedroom. Susan was not there when we were staying and having seen her house and garden, we were disappointed not to meet her. Some reviews mention a cat, but there is no longer a cat living there. The location is fantastic, if we come back (and we plan to) we'd do it without a car. There is a bus stop outside for Helsingor or the station and it's easy to get around, using the DOT Tickets app. Louisiana is walking distance and worth two days by itself. Highly recommended.

This is simply a beautiful place. A nice, tastefully decorated home with music instruments, books, a stunning garden and conservatory and a kitchen with everything you need is waiting for you. It is situated in a truly beautiful landscape. We came without car and everything is reachable by foot or public transport. Susan is a great, very generous and warm host. She was present during our stay, and we very much enjoyed her company. She and her partner Erik are both very friendly, open people, ready to help with anything. Erik drove us to a nice beach a few km away and Susan helped us a lot when our child got sick during our stay. If you come with children, they will surely enjoy the garden and the sea, the Louisiana childrens' wing and the Øresund Aquarium. Susan also provided us with indoor and outdoor toys and books for our 2-year-old, as well as a childrens chair, plates and cutlery. Thank you so much for everything, Susan! We really enjoyed our stay.

Susan är den bästa värden man kan tänka sig! Omtänksam och generös och bjuder dessutom på en prunkande trädgård man njuta av i alla väderstreck. Vi hade tur med vädret så närheten till bad var det bästa, och besöket på restaurang endast en kort promenad bort. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera boendet och skulle gärna vilja komma tillbaka!!
