The chicken barn is a lovely place to stay. We wanted somewhere remote and peaceful and that is exactly what we got! Perfectly situated for our dog with lots of room to explore around the barn! Little towns are only a 5-15 minute drive away which is perfect too! We walked kinder Scout and jacobs ladder which the barn is a perfect distance from! The barn itself is very clean and Linda has thought of everything that you will need for you stay.

We had a lovely stay at Linda's Chicken Barn. Linda is a great host making the effort to meet us on check in and was happy to help with any questions, being close by but not intrusive. The barn itself is cosy and just as we expected it to be. Located in such a wonderful location with walks right on the doorstep. We would definitely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to return. Thanks again Linda for our stay.

The space was perfect for a little family: cosy and well-equipped. We loved the little touches like toothpaste, plenty of towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. We were greeted by a lovely note on the chalkboard and a birthday card and small bottle of wine - so thoughtful. The fields around the accommodation were brilliant for our daughter and dog! They played endlessly and the field is enclosed so no worry about escaping! We would like to truly thank Linda for being an excellent host. She really went above and beyond for us. Our daughter was ill on the first night. Linda checked on our dog whilst we were at the hospital and washed all of our daughter's bedding and favourite bunny (including a vanish scrub and extra run through the machine to make sure it came out pristine!). She also gave us some great recommendations for toddler friendly walks in the area. Her communication was always excellent and prompt. We would highly recommend for a relaxing, countryside break!

Linda's Chicken Barn was cosy, warm and a perfect spot for walking straight out to Kinder Reservoir, Kinder Scout, Jacob's Ladder and many other walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we wish it had been for longer though. Linda is fabulous, helpful and totally responsive. We would love to come back. Thank you Helen
