What a lovely place to stay! I was worried first week of April would be too early but Armenoi was a charming village about 0.5 km down the hill, many restaurants were yet to open in Chania and West Crete but there was more than enough choice. The beaches were empty as the water was a refreshing 17-18C - like the height of sumer in UK! The pool was great too with mountain views and sunsets over the village . Alessandro has done lots of work on the house with very nice new windows and shutters and new beds. You should note that the downstairs bedroom is enclosed but the mezzanine room is not screened from the living area below - so our eight year old ( who would like me to tell you about the excellent decor) slept downstairs. Both beds are huge anyway. Lovely garden with all the oranges, lemons and loquats you can eat and herbs besides. Alesandro was a very responsive host who cleaned the pool while the chickens were crowing and provided great recommendations! Enjoy

Es war wirklich wunderbar und ich kann die Unterkunft mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und Alexandros ist ein sehr guter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Er ist proaktiv auf uns zugekommen und hat uns Empfehlungen ausgesprochen, ein Late Check-In und Check-Out waren ohne Probleme möglich. Das Grundstück überzeugt durch seine vielen Bäume, den großen Pool und die tolle Terrasse, die wir oft zum Grillen benutzt haben. Aber auch der kleine Ort Armenoi konnte mit seinen kleinen und empfehlenswerten Tavernen überzeugen! Wir waren mehr als begeistert und würden wiederkommen! Danke :)

If you are looking for a villa with a pool on Crete, this is the place to be! It has a great location with an absolutely fantastic view on the mountains. The key element of this property is a private pool and dining area outside the house. This is the space where we spend a half of each day. The property has everything that you might need and everything works fine. We even managed to taste some figs and limes from the garden. It's really an idyllic house. The host, Alexandros, was more than helpful and welcoming. We were allowed a self-check in in the late hours. He also helped us with locked keys and answered all of our questions and spontaneous needs. Highly recommended offer!

It was our second time at Villa Adriana and we love it there! It already feels like home and we are definitely coming back next year. Alexandros is a great host, gave us many new good tips and always replied very quick. You can reach the city center of the little village by foot and there are very nice restaurants. The view from the apartment is stunning and even better than shown in the pictures. We just love it there! Thanks a lot Alexandros! We will see you next year! The stone girls
