We had a wonderful stay in the cottage in April. 3 generations, 5 children and 6 adults. Plenty of room and the cottage was so comfy. We had everything we needed. Andrew and Lisa were very friendly. The children loved looking out of the window to see how many more lambs had appeared during the day. Would certainly recommend. Thank you for a great week.

Just returned from a lovely stay over new year with family. Couldn’t fault the house at all, it had everything we needed and it was so homely and cosy! We loved spending our nights in front of the fire and playing the board games that were provided. My little girl absolutely loved walking along the quiet road just outside of the house and splashing in the puddles! She was also fascinated watching Andrew and the dogs herd the sheep on our last morning. Communication was brilliant, Andrew recommend local pubs for us to visit on New Year’s Day, we had a lovely meal out. We absolutely loved it and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you so much!

Our stay was a 3 generation break between Christmas and new year. The house is perfectly placed for exploring Northumberland. It’s on a quite remote working farm so one has to expect all that comes with being there. For example Wi-Fi signal was not always strong. If that really matters to you, you need to be prepared for being in the country. For us Andrew’s place was ideal for our kids - homely and spacious. We had a great time. Andrew was helpful when needed. When we told him about a problem we had with the oven in the morning, it was replaced by mid afternoon. This is a good place for families at a very reasonable price.

Excellent place for having peace and an encounter with nature, the surroundings are beautiful and thee is a small town with large supermarkets for everything. I did many questions before going to the cottage and Andrew was always responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place, we had a wonderful Christmas there.
