Visit Allensford Country Park for walking and cycling trails and spend a day at the fantastic Beamish Museum (10.5 miles) for an unforgettable journey into the past. Head to Stanhope in the nearby Durham Dales (13.5 miles), a superb place for outdoor activities, and spend a day in Durham (15 miles) for the magnificent cathedral, river walks, shops, bars, and restaurants. Newcastle and the Metrocentre are both also within 15 miles.</p> <p>This inviting former stable has been beautifully transformed into a tranquil haven for couples looking for quality and comfort. Step through the stable-style front door into the bright, airy, open-plan living space with high ceilings and original exposed beams.
