Great place for a couple of nights, everything was provided that we asked for (baby stuff). Very clean, great amenities, super nice & friendly host, welcoming and beautiful surroundings. Reccomend!

Black Swan Cottage is a special piece of history, the oldest cottage in the village of Ashford in the Water. It's exactly as per images. Kim, the host, lives next door and was extremely responsive even over the bank holiday weekend. Can access many walks and footpaths from the front door, 2 pubs and tea room within 5 mins walk and Bakewell, with all sorts of amenities, 3 miles away. Wifi patchy and bathroom is a wet room style shower which the beautiful beams prevent any kind of screen. Totally manageable but might be a compromise for some guests.

Great cottage, very quaint and cosy. We stayed with 9 months old baby - super comfortable and easy to navigate. As described, a tiny bathroom is not very convenient ( lack of bath / shower as is) but we managed. Super place! And special ❤️ to a mega comfy bed. And Ashford in the water is a stunning village with amazing views.
