It was great. Just as Colin described. Nothing fancy but everything you need and a bit more. Found enough function bikes to use. Colin was very responsive.

Always a treat to stay on Savary Island. Colin was a great host making sure we had everything we need for a good time and would go back anytime.

A great little quiet cabin, close to both sides of the islands beaches, close to the ice cream shop and Mermaid Lounge. The record collection in the cabin is outstanding, you could easily spend a week spinning records and enjoying the quiet space.

Positives: *Colin was accommodating when we arrived, making sure the kids had the bikes they needed. *Location. We enjoyed proximity to Mermaid Lounge. *Plenty to explore on a rainy day. (No real video options though: no cable or streaming device and no remote for the old DVD player.) *Adequate Wi-Fi Negatives: * Lack of information on transportation and services. The situation is difficult to decipher. House is more than 5 K from the wharf. *Dirty dishes. Smoke smell and cobwebs. My daughter developed a rash over her entire face while we were there. *No toaster or microwave. *The main drawback was the large group next door at The Castle, also managed by Colin. They partied loudly into our first night. We asked Colin to intervene but heard nothing from him for the remainder of our stay. We're not sorry we stayed here (there weren't many other options), but attention to details would have made it much better.
