Kies is on the beautiful northern beaches of Coffs Harbour. Coffs Harbour has a population of approximately 75,000 and increasing. A 15 minute drive to attractions such as the Big Bannana, Dolphin Marine Park, movie theatre, ten pin bowling, spring loaded, go cart racing and paintball. Park Beach Plaza and the Palm Centre are the main shopping areas. The Jetty area is a popular tourist area and you can enjoy a walk over Mutton Bird island then a coffee or lunch at one of the many coffee shops on the Jetty strip.
There is a Coles and an Aldi at Moonee and a Woolworths at Woolgoolga along with many speciality shops.
Enjoy whale watching from Woolgoolga headland and take a walk over look at me now headland at Emerald Beach where kangaroos are a plenty. You can walk right around to Moonee Beach to the South and Woolgoolga Beaches to the north.

There is limited public transport so a car is essential. There is a courtesy bus that will take you and return you to the Moonee Tavern (Moonee) and Seaview Tavern ( Wollogoolga) both provide great meals and entertainment most weekends.
