Macro is perfect for folks seeking community and convenience. The house has everything you need, from appliances to dish ware to entertainment, and then some. The space attracts many people moving to the city or studying internationally with some more permanent residents remaining cornerstones of the community. Generally everyone is quite respectful and thoughtful, always kind and friendly. Community events are held a couple times a week and it’s easy to integrate into the house. If you aren’t used to community living, in hostels or dorms for example, then you should be aware that you will be in close proximity to a good number of people - some of these people will end up being close new friends! Management is attentive and fosters the community well, genuinely kind and patient and supportive, always available when you need them and resolve any issues quickly. The common areas are well kept. It’s a place you won’t forget by a long shot, and I would look forward to returning!

Affordable accomodation in a great location with plenty of local bars and restaurants and just a short bus, car or scooter ride downtown. Met plenty of interesting and fun people during my time here!

A positive, inclusive community, located away from the inner city but close enough to explore most of what Austin has to offer via public transportation. I will be back and i highly recommend macrohouse to anyone visiting the Austin area.
