Un posto bellissimo in una posizione strategia per visitare la Lunigiana e le zone limitrofe. Josh e Heather hanno ristrutturato questo vecchio edificio di campagna in modo originale e con gusto e senza snaturane l'essenza. Consigliassimo!

Josh and Heather’s place is named The Sanctuary and it’s a fitting name! This is the most peaceful place I’ve encountered in Italy. I had a chance to taste life in the country with easy access to Pontremoli and the train station. They recommended which Taxi to use and had Enricho waiting for me when my train arrived at the station. Josh gave me a tutorial regarding trains which is useful for an American traveler using public transportation. Josh and Heather gave me the best tips and advice about what to see and do in the area and even arranged a cooking class for me to attend. If you like hiking this is the place as it is close to Cinque Terre and other national parks, as well as a country walk to Torrano and the use of local trails from the property Josh has created. My morning breakfast was so filling, healthy and delicious! A great way to fuel up for an exciting day. Each night I slept in silence in a cozy and soft bed with really comfortable Belgian linens. The pool is a work of Art and very refreshing. They have many fruits and nuts on the property which you can harvest and eat. My hosts also provide some food and drink options and laundry for a very low price which made life easy. I also enjoyed the company of Viggo and the kittens which really made me feel at home. I have no complaints and I highly recommend that you stay here. Its just a few minutes from town and affords you many peaceful walks in the country with beautiful song birds, mushrooms everywhere, olive groves, vineyards, panoramic views and plenty of space for reflection and contemplation. Book now, you won’t be sorry!

I can’t say enough great things about this family and their place. They go above and beyond for their guests. Josh, Heather and Viggo are the sweetest family with the best hearts. We were so sad to have to leave. They have so much knowledge about the area and where to eat. We of course went to their favorite Rosy’s (we actually went two nights in a row). The grounds are full of fruit trees, an amazing pool, and hikes! We will without a doubt in our mind be back to this beautiful oasis in Pontremoli!

Josh Heather and Viggo are a very nice family that make you feel at home . Their cottage is very clean , nicely located and enables you to experience a very pleasant and peaceful moment . It’s located at roughly one hour away from many things to visit ( parme, 5Terre, Pisé, Lucques, Lerici , etc ...) . So many things to do . When you go back at the end of the day , the cottage is a perfect place to relax (nice view, very quiet , with a pool , good restaurants not too far away étc ..) . Special thanks for the entire family always helpful and kind . We highly recommend .

Josh war ein super Gastgeber wenn nicht sogar der Beste. Er gab super Tipps was man alles unternehmen kann in der Umgebung. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die canyon tour und ein Essen bei Rosy. Zimmer und Haus waren super sauber sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der Naturpool. Wir kommen wieder.
