Great little cottage located a very short walk from the beach and peer. The space is small but very well organized, you can tell the owners have put some thoughts and love into the place. There is a little shed with a couple of bikes and beach chairs that we took advantage of. Would definitely recommend it!

Pros: Location: The bungalow’s proximity to the beach, and a local seafood/oyster bar made it an easy walk to the shoreline and great food a huge plus. Responsive Hosts: The hosts were communicative and attentive, ensuring a smooth experience. Cons: Condition: The bungalow could benefit from some serious TLC, but understandable due to short term rental and tough beach environment. (Overall casual beach vibes were good though) Decent Value: Considering the location and beach access, the value was reasonable. In summary, if you’re seeking a coastal retreat with character, this bungalow offers an laid back escape.

We had a great time at the bungalow for the week. It was just one block away from beach access and the fishing pier. Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar is also just a two-minute walk away, which was super convenient. We also enjoyed taking our dog for a 20-minute walk in the other direction to the sound, where there was a nice waterfront greenway trail.

Really charming beach cottage with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The space was perfect for our family of four as well as our goldendoodle. We were visiting the OBX during Spring Break and the weather didn't cooperate (terrible rain and high winds) but the cottage was cozy with a wood burning fireplace and lots of sweet touches like fresh flowers as we arrived. We also appreciated the hosts great communication and wet weather recommendations. The aquarium with the turtle sanctuary was a highlight of our trip and we loved "I Got Your Crabs" for a delicious family seafood dinner. The location of the cottage, a block from the beach and Avalon Pier, also couldn't be beat.
