This was our second time staying at Chao’s house. My brother and sister and I all live out of town and we go home to Marietta Chao’s house is our go to place to stay. This most respectful visit was for our grandfathers funeral. It snowed the night of my grandfathers viewing and through the night. Chao’s came to shovel and lay salt down in a super fast manner to ensure our safety. He even went above and beyond and cleaned the show off my sister’s car. The house was stocked with essentials that keep us from having to rush to the grocery store. Thank you for being an amazing host Chao’s we will be back to stay at your place again in the future.

I love this place. We come to hunt in Ohio, it’s near my husbands relatives property. Chao is so thoughtful & even stocks the fridge with bologna, milk and juice and bread! It gives you time to get groceries! If you have Walmart delivery like I do, they even deliver there! Nice sun room & yard we play kick ball in every year. Last year I accidentally took a hand towel and this year bought left two! The kitchen could be stocked a bit better, I bought a white mixing bowl and left it there for him. Pots and pans old, but do the job! The beds are old and very firm, but I know having a rental myself, you do a little upgrading at a time. I suggested a table for the kitchen, which keeps food in the kitchen and he even put a new table. Very handy when you have kids. We try and leave the place just as good as we found it, as he is so thoughtful himself. The house is very clean and a great stay. It’s like staying at grandmas house. Honestly, I will stay there over a motel or hotel any day.

Chao was fantastic. He rented the home to us very last minute and brought us a bottle of wine because he didn’t have time to clean the leaves in the yard. I didn’t care at all about the leaves. The yard was great, the house was great. I stayed with my husband, son, daughter-in-law and two Grandbabies. The home was very clean and allowed plenty of space for us. The yard was great and Chao had breakfast items there for us. The only issue we had was that we did not have cell service (Verizon) and I would love to have known this may be an issue prior to our stay since my husband and son left for work each day and couldn’t reach us. However, after I mentioned it to Chao he did explain that service sometimes does work- the network is switching to 5G so it can be sporadic BUT most phones can easily switch to wi-fi calling and wi-fi works fine at the house so it was great to have a work around.

Chai is an excellent host, very prompt and attentive to any of our needs. Home is equipped with everything you need. Very peaceful but close to town. DoorDash available:)
