Elaine & Wayne were filling in for Kurt. They were very enthusiastic, entertaining, & informative. The B & B was very nice with local-based breakfast on a large deck with an awesome view. They had excellent local suggestions on fun things to do. We will book with them again.

Better than the online pictures! Mellow vibe, excellent hosts, fantastic/healthy/yummy breakfast! Homegrown coffee. Breathtaking sunsets! The steep driveway is a bit rugged, but our Nissan Altima sedan did fine. We just took it slow. Wild pigs crunching on macadamia nuts lulled us to sleep. The outdoor cats and dog greeted us warmly.

Gorgeous location but not easy to access, especially arriving in the dark. We appreciate Elaine and Wayne who welcomed us, and enjoyed chatting a bit in the morning when a light 8am breakfast was served on the lanai. The budget room was very small but functional. It would be really helpful to have a dark shade installed for the bright skylight that is right above the double bed — for guests who don’t wake up so early. There is a strict no kitchen access policy : no stove use, no use of microwave (can ask hosts to microwave it for you), no drinking filtered water available except at breakfast time (only bathroom water available or buy bottled water), no hot water (I was recovering from a cold but couldn’t make any hot tea…) — just be aware when booking. Last but not least, my (pilot and musician) husband and I were really excited to meet the hosts Kurt and Kana but were disappointed that we didn’t find out they were traveling until we showed up.
