Lovely cosy cottage,very clean with plenty of information about area/places to eat. Dale introduced himself to us which was very welcoming.He also followed up with text, Bed linen spotless. Home baked bread a very nice touch and eaten far too quickly. Thank you.

What a lovely few days spent at Dale and Helens. Perfect hosts who communicated really well via text both before and during our stay. A lovely Barn and extremely well equipped, spotless, spacious and very dog friendly. Could not fault a thing and would love to come back for another visit. Thank you Dale ! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

What a beautiful property. The extra touches - milk, bread, butter, jam, were so thoughtful. There was even a little welcome sign for us. Great with our dog and some walks from the property for that early morning requirement, plus plenty of local longer walks. The kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge was bigger than we thought it would be, with a cozy log burner. If we’re back in the area, this would be our number one choice.

From the moment we walked in to the smell of a freshly-baked crusty loaf left by Dale as part of a welcome basket (along with eggs, milk, butter, orange juice, milk and jams), we felt perfectly at home at Primrose Hall. Extremely comfortable, very well equipped and immaculately presented, it's ideally situated for exploring Rutland Water and the nearby towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham. The owners have put together a huge amount of information on visits, walks, cycling, eating out etc. for guests, as well as about the Hall's own interesting history. We loved the Hambleton Bakery Cafe a few minutes' drive away. Unfortunately the pub in Empingham itself seemed to have closed recently but there we found plenty of good alternatives close by. We wouldn't hesitate to book Primrose Hall again the next time we come to the area, and thoroughly recommend it to other Airbnb users.
