The Old Post Office, a conveniently located apartment, in Lowtown Bridgnorth, close to all attractions Bridgnorth has to offer. The property is full of character with exposed beams, low ceilings, and winding staircase. It has two lovely bedrooms, small living room, dining kitchen, large bathroom, secluded rear garden and BBQ area, which guests can use. We are sure you will enjoy the calm atmosphere we have created. No parking on site, Lowtown is well served by many public car parks. The location is extremely handy for Bridgnorth, the River Severn and Severn Valley Railway. Immediately opposite the property is a Marks and Spencer Food Hall and small Co-Op supermarket.

Great place. We would go there again. Spotless and comfortable. Fridge was stocked with eggs, milk, yoghurt croissants, yoghurt, raspberries and more plus there were bananas, apples, cereals, nachos and chocolate digestives (others I’ve forgotten) which is above and beyond from our point of view. It’s right opposite an M&S outlet so you don’t need to shop before you arrive. Just get what you want when you need it. There are at least 4 pubs in crawling distance plus a couple of hotels. What’s not to love!

A fantastic base to stay in bridgnorth. Close to everything in town and really nicely looked after. Had absolutely everything I needed
There were lovely treats on arrival, fruit, croissants, jam, cereal, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit juice, caramel biscuits… The accommodation was so comfortable and clean, central location for the town, we will definitely return Thankyou
A quaint flat in a great location. We enjoyed the quirky stairs and the lower ceilings and all the details found in the flat. Judith left us a lovely welcoming package of fruit, breakfast pancakes, snacks and juices... so thoughtful. Judith was great in her communications and responded ever so quickly to our request for detailed information required to UK arrival documentation. We highly recommend this cute little flat.

Bridgnorth is a beautiful market town, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, and of course the River Severn. Bridgnorth can the base for your tour of Shropshire and the surrounding area. Ironbridge, the world heritage site and start of the Industrial Revolution is a short journey away, the Severn Valley Railway starts in Bridgnorth and ends in Kidderminster, one of the most lovely train journeys in England, SVR organise many special events throughout the year, please check their website for information. Canoeing is available from Bridgnorth, and is a fun way to spend the day.
Ludlow another jewel of a town, in Shropshire is about a 35 minute drive away and hosts the famous Ludlow food festival in September, and many other events throughout the year.
Shropshire, and in particular Bridgnorth has a great deal to offer and we are sure you'll enjoy time there.
PARKING
Just a little bit of information about the parking in Severn Street, WV15 6BB. Parking is free from 20.30pm until 07.30am then it is chargeable at £2.75 per day.
If you download an app called Mipermit, this allows you to pay for your parking, wherever you are, or in advance. So no need to get up early to purchase a parking ticket from 7.30 am onwards. There is a 40 minutes parking bay outside the property, if you’re lucky!
