Had a great stay for a family birthday celebration, it was so peaceful and relaxing! Jane was so helpful and accomodating and we would love to come back again 😊
Good trip
This house is great! It is much bigger than the photos and there is a big hot tub outside! Jane the host is very friendly, responsive and flexible on my guest numbers and check in and out times. Definitely would go back and highly recommend.
This was a fantastic place for a large family gathering with plenty of space, a substantial kitchen & short walk to the pristine Colo river.
Wow!! Cannot get over our weekend at the lodge!! This house is incredible, it is massive and on such a beautiful property. The house and rooms are a lot bigger than they look in the photos. Kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group of people. So much space for everyone. The River was spectacular we set up for the day there and everyone had the most amazing time. Jane is a legend and was so helpful and friendly with everything. She really went above and beyond to accomodate things. I would recommend coming here to everyone and I definitely need to come back, my friends and I had an unforgettable weekend at the perfect location!!!

Upper Colo is quiet and remote and surrounded by the Wollemi National Park
It’s a little community that is situated alongside the pristine Colo River - which is clean and clear with lovely light sand.
The river is not tidal at our location which means it is shallow and safe for kids ( under supervision of course )
The closest cafe is 11km away and called Riverside Cafe - tasty food and coffee and great service
The nearest fuel station is at Colo Heights or Wilberforce - approx 20 km away.
There are lots of local walks you can do so please ask your host for details
If you would like a canoe experience on the river - we can arrange this for your group
Travel to Upper Colo is by private car or private coach. There are no public transport facilities or train stations in the area
Closest train station is at Windsor NSW
