"Our stay was fantastic and we had a great time! The view from both the front and back of the house was stunning and it added to our experience. Fiona was very responsive and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, heavy rain and flooding occurred during our stay, which prevented us from swimming in the river located in front of the house. However, we still appreciate the fact that the house is located near such a beautiful natural attraction. Best regards, Jalal John."

Not a farm stay - zero animal interaction, garden beds mostly full of weeds. Photos were false advertising. The open space in the main house was great as was the large dining table. Aircon was effective and consistent. The fire pit was a big hit. The trampoline, though somewhat unsafe with large gaps and poles that even the kids could take apart, provided great entertainment. The river is good for a swim though there was no "beach". Unfortunately, our hosts ghosted us after check in. We did not see or hear from them, though I left messages on the 1st and 2nd of our 3 nights. They did not respond to any of my concerns. Some of which were mentioned in previous reviews, including the large burner which doesn't work in the main house kitchen and the heavily leaking shower in the upstairs bathroom. Not only were these not fixed, they didn't even leave a note. The place appeared run down and not clean. There were cockroaches and cobwebs. Disappointing.

Had an amazing stay at Hebron Farm for my partner's birthday! Lovely space for a big group and great value. The river is stunning and the house and cottage are clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Stephen and Fiona were also very responsive and generously gave us a late check out without additional charge. I'll admit I was a tiny bit concerned about this place based on a few of the recent reviews, but we have no complaints at all about our stay. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to host a big group for a relaxed weekend. The only thing I'd flag if you're considering booking Hebron Farm is that it's a working farm, so there won't necessarily be the same animals as are featured in the promotional materials. THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT! We had the main house and the cottage, both were clean and plenty of space for a big family get-together. Kitchen was great for lots of cooking and the fire pit was a treat. Loved walking down to the river too. Would have loved to see some animals on the property though, especially as the photos promote that. Had a great time and the best birthday there. Thanks so much guys, I will definitely come back! X

Unfortunately, the property had no running water for more than half of our stay. This meant we couldn't shower, use the toilets or clean the dishes during that time. This was due to a broken pipe. Whilst this situation is somewhat out of the control of the hosts, their response (or delays in responding) caused significant consternation and uncertainty within our group. We did not receive compensation from the hosts for our troubles.
