This place was great. Very comfortable, clean and nice. Had everything we needed and more. It was the perfect location for our trip. Communication was excellent. Already booked our visit for next year.

Great indoor space! We stayed here for a work retreat and it worked really well for us to have two living room areas and a large dining room to gather in. We booked multiple houses so everyone had their own bedroom and appreciated having options close together. The kitchen was really well equipped, the view of the river was great, and everything worked as expected. Heather was responsive. We were here during a winter storm. Between the wind whistling, the rain/hail on the metal roof, and the highway noise, light sleepers were glad to have brought ear plugs. Note that guests are expected to do quite a bit of clean up (for example washing & drying towels, cleaning and putting away dishes, taking out trash, etc) before check out so it would be good to plan ahead on your checkout morning to dedicate enough for these chores.

My extended family and I have stayed at Happy Hollow and now Castaway for the past 3 years. We always have a great time and both homes are exactly as described. It's so fun to watch the fisher people in the river while sitting in the hot tub. It's also a quick drive to the Tillamook creamery and ocean.
