Nice place in general
We had a great stay with friends at the Cellar Barn. The cottage has a lovely, cosy, country feel and is well equipped. The hosts provide lots of information about local things to do. The cottage is set within the beautiful grounds of a lovely country house. There is a great cafe on the site and a fascinating plants and second hand items emporium. Also lots of different animals to see. The apple orchard is absolutely lovely with stunning views across the Somerset countryside, big skies with fantastic sunsets, wonderful birds and peace and quiet. A great place to stay, definitely hope to be back!
Having a family weekend away with 3 boys two being teenagers and one who is 7. Trying to find somewhere to stay that everyone is happy with is always a challenge. The boys loved the games room and our youngest loved the animals. We had a bit of a problem with the bathroom light on the first night and with one phone call Sam was straight round to fix. He mentioned about the lambs and watching them being fed the next day. Next thing we had a message asking if we wanted to help with there last feed that night. One very excited little boy whose weekend was made. The Barn was beautiful and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back. As Arlo is already missing his lambs and Dave( the cat).
Really lovely part of the world to stay. Great hosts to communicate with. Would definitely come back.
Lovely accommodation, very homely and warm. Great for all ages. Karen is extremely helpful and responsive when contacted. Definitely would recommend.

We have lived in Somerset for nearly 25 years and over the years have grown to love the beautiful countryside and many friends. Having renovated 3 barns behind our house and a beautiful character cottage in the village we embarked on offering Air BnB accommodation about 4 years ago. We have met so many lovely people as guests and we love to have them stay and enjoy the beautiful peace and quiet of Somerset. We do all we can to make our self catering accommodation a relaxing home from home and hope our guests enjoy staying as much as we enjoy hosting.
