Tad was flexible with my schedule changes and provided the same great value she always has for my stays in Cherokee! Absolutely love my morning stretch by Soco creek to get the day started! Wouldn't stay anywhere else if Tad's place was available!

I stayed 4 nights here while on vacation from Louisiana. I came to spend time in the mountains and see the leaves. I had lots planned in Asheville as well as Gatlinburg, this place is perfectly in the middle of both with easy access to the BRP. The house is beautiful and right on a creek. I didn’t need anything during my stay as I already had all the linens and such in my room. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay here. I plan on coming again next year and will stay here! My only comment would be that the water in the shower is backwards, I thought it had run out of hot water so I wasn’t able to shower that first night. But ended up figuring it out the next day🤣 maybe I was reading it wrong or it’s in the check in stuff that I didn’t see lol. Regardless I recommend!!

Great space - we had read so much about the host, the fire pit, feeding the animals and the occasional jam session….host was out of town so it was quiet. Otherwise close to Cherokee and the GSMNP. Clean and lovely

Nice room with very comfortable bed and linens. No TV reception (that we could figure out) and no cables to connect DVD player to TV to watch any of the movies in the closet. Too damp and chilly to sit on the porch (which looked nice) and only one good sitting chair in our room. So we played cards in bed, which wasn’t super comfortable. Also, would have been nice to have access to refrigeration for a couple things in our cooler, but no one was around to ask. Still, the place was in a great location, easy to access, clean and very affordable. Bath is shared with other guest(s) across the hall, but that was not a problem at all during our stay. There was someone staying in the other room whom we heard the first night after we retired. But we never saw actually saw anyone on the property during our stay.

We’re motorcyclists. Finding an Airbnb in the mountains with a flat, paved driveway off a well maintained divided paved road is a RARE FIND. This place is a treasure! Perfect area for motorcycle rides: right off the Blue Ridge Parkway just minutes from Cherokee. Under 1.5 hrs beautiful ride to Moonshiners 28 & the Dragon. She even has an open garage under the house to park bikes. Tads homey & comfortable place is truly a hidden treasure! We absolutely will be back!
