Four of us came to see our grandparents village: for our first time visit Miglionico was charming and told us enough of what we wanted to know. But the village and the location is just so beautiful. I am selfishly grateful that it is not so touristy and that people make me use Italian. I always felt safe. I expect to return again hopefully with my daughter and hopefully to Grazia’s accommodation.

Soggiorno perfetto! Prima ancora di fare la prenotazione Graziella è stata disponibilissima. La casa è esattamente come la vedete in foto, grande, luminosa comoda e accogliente, la pulizia è impeccabile, non manca nulla e la vista panoramica dal terrazzo è bellissima. Entrando nel portone si accede ad una piccola e tranquilla corte in cui volano le rondini e salendo le scale si arriva ad un primo terrazzino dal quale si entra in casa. Svegliarsi con quella vista ti riempie il cuore! Anche gli affacci interni sono suggestivi perché danno sui tetti del paese. Graziella e il marito sono stati gentilissimi e disponibilissimi nel darci consigli su dove mangiare o su cosa visitare. Essendo noi dei gran bevitori di caffè già la mattina dopo avevamo quasi finito le cialde e siccome in paese non le trovavamo ce le hanno fatte trovare fuori casa la sera stessa per farvi capire la gentilezza e disponibilità! All'arrivo ci hanno atteso all'ingresso del paese con la macchina e poi ci hanno guidati fino a casa. I parcheggi sono proprio lì sotto e se proprio siete sfortunati che li trovate occupati ce ne sono degli altri a 200 metri (noi con 2 macchine non abbiamo avuto problemi). La strada per raggiungere il b&b è semplicissima, certo c'è qualche salita e qualche curva proprio per entrare in paese ma è così in tutti i paesi della zona, niente strade troppo ripide o strette ( parola di una fifona :D ) ! Il paese è molto bello con il suo castello e si trova in un punto veramente strategico per visitare la zona e gli altri paesini ed è a soli 15 minuti da Matera. Un grazie di cuore da tutta la famiglia a Graziella e a suo marito per il fantastico soggiorno e per averci fatto sentire a casa :D

Graziella and her husband are really nice hosts, always available and they really cared about us! Miglionico is a quite small town, we used it as a basis for trips to Matera (20 Minutes), Apulia and to the beach in Pericoro. The apartment has a wonderful balcony with a great view on the lake, which is good for breaksfast and in the evening. We have been there as a couple, the apartment is really spatial with two bathrooms, so there shouldn't be an issue for even more people. Everything is quite as it is shown in the description, the kitchen is great, I liked the espresso machine. The apartment has two floors the entrance is at the upper floor. The air conditioning is enough, even for hot days. Wifi was fast and stable, the apartment is also suitable for remote working. Checkin was easy, Graziella was waiting for us and explained everything. They gave us a tour through Miglionico and showed us the most important places. Graziella was a kind of a tourist agency for us, with lots of good recommendations for places to see and restaurants. She also made reservations in restaurants for us, because some people in restaurants did not speak English - and those were the best restaurants we have been there. We can really recommend to stay there.

Die Unterkunft in der Altstadt von Miglionico ist aus vielen Gründen sehr, sehr gut! Erstens - die LAGE! Miglionico liegt perfekt in Basilikata, dass man die wichtigsten Ausflugsziele angenehm mit Sternfahrten erreichen kann. Wir blieben eine Woche in Miglionico und fuhren von hier nach Matera, Castelmezzano, Metaponto, Aliano, Pietrapertosa, .... Die LAGE der Wohnung in Miglionico ist perfekt! Man hat direkt vor dem Haus einen Parkplatz an der Stadtmauer und die Rückseite des Hauses ist schon mitten in der kleinen, wunderschönen Altstadt! Zu Fuß waren wir in 3 Min auf der herzlichen Piazza, das Alimentari für die Lebensmittel war auch dort, alles zu Fuß leicht erreichbar. Die LAGE der Wohnung im Haus ist auch ganz unglaublich! Auf der großen Terrasse vor der Küche haben wir jeden Abend Crodino getrunken und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Wahnsinnig schön dort, mit Blick über ein riesiges Tal mit dem wunderschönen See. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr große Küche in der wir auch gut kochen konnten. Dass Grazia, die SOFORT und jederzeit von uns erreichbar war, uns einen Kuchen gebacken hatte und Kaffee und andere Köstlichkeiten uns zur Verfügung gestellt hatte, hat den Aufenthalt für uns noch perfekter gemacht. Wir hatten jederzeit das Gefühl, willkommen und unter Freunden zu sein. Wir sind sehr, sehr dankbar für diese wunderbare Erfahrung und werden immer wieder gerne zu Grazia und ihren Freunden in Miglionico kommen.
