Clean and inviting. This is a great place to stay and get away from everything. Very peaceful and private with great views from the back deck.

Driving up the mountain was a bit difficult in some spots, steep inclines, big drop offs. The place wasn't too hard to find, and we got right in. The home is very cute, kitchen fully stocked with spices, pots and plans, dishes and silverware. The view from the queen bed is gorgeous. The back porch is large and has a great view and is where I wanted to spend most of my time. Unfortunately, it was swarming with carpenter bees, making spending time out there during the day impossible. We soon found that we would have stink bugs as constant companions in the home. A few here and there are to be expected in a country home in the warmer weather, but over an 8 hour period we had gotten rid of at least 25 of them, dead and alive. For the last day of our trip the power went out for over 5 hours. For his part, the host was very responsive throughout our stay, and gave us a little money back because of the bugs. With everything that happened though, I would not return here.

My husband, baby and I loved staying at the loft! Everything is exactly as described and the loft has everything you need. Watching the stars at night was our favorite! The loft is about 15 minutes to the city center and 20 minutes to Shenandoah National Park.

Beautiful location, very cozy little cabin, perfect for a couple. The bed has a beautiful view.

Great views! That balcony is hard to beat. The last mile to get to the place is intimidating due to the gravel road, switchbacks, and incline. I recommend using 4WD vehicles with a little extra ground clearance.
