A nice comfortable place. The home is secluded, which we liked. The road to get to the house is pretty rough and could be a problem if it snowed, or even with heavy rain. The electricity was out one afternoon/evening and we were sorry that the only portable lights available didn't work as the batteries were dead.

The interior of the house was fairly clean and had what we needed, but the exterior is not maintained without specific request. If you don't like insects, bees, and spiders flying into you and crawling on you, you will not be able to sit anywhere outside, including the deck, fire pit area, or hot tub. The bugs cover each entrance to the house/shed as well, so they will always get inside. Objectively, the pictures on the Airbnb listing do not match reality. The deck and outdoor furniture no longer have paint, proving that the pictures are very outdated. I think the photos should be updated and more reflective of the current state, especially with everything covered in debris, webs, and bugs. Others might not be bothered, but our expectation was to enjoy the outdoor space, as that is the main appeal of the house. Otherwise, it's a long drive with a windy, gravel road to get anywhere. We wanted the remote location, but other houses in the woods are more enjoyable.

Bobby was an awesome host and answered all of our questions quickly! The place itself is beautiful and has everything you need to have a great trip. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely place, lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely being in the woods. Hot tub and fire pit were really lovely. A separate cinema projecter room was fun.
