I needed a place to stay while taking my little boy on a bike riding weekend and this place was perfect. very close to the camel trail and local beaches and there was also a playground on site, which he loved. the cottage was clean, spacious (more so than it appears in tne pictures and very well equipped. Jo was a great host too and really clear communication. we definitely hope to stay here again

Fantastic place to stay, great host. Check in was easy. Kitchen was gorgeous. Could have done with less things to do for check out. Paid a lot for the cleaning fee but still had to take the rubbish out. Still will definitely hopefully stay again soon 😁

Ideal base for the two of us to explore the local area. Interesting "upside down" cottage conversion. You need to be fit enough to negotiate entrance steps and interior spiral staircase down to the comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Buses run from just outside if you don't want to use the car and there is a cycle link via farm track (can be muddy) and quiet lane, to the Camel trail. We found it warm, comfortable and very relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Designated parking space was a bonus and camp site facilities are available if required (eg wet suit washing/drying area).

Country charm yet surprisingly spacious! A really lovely cottage, we wish we could stay for longer!!
